Following a successful run at Theatre Royal Bath and subsequent tour last year, Noel Coward's classic comedy returns to the West End.
Felicity Kendal gives the greatest performance of her career as Judith Bliss – once glittering star of the London stage - in Noel Coward’s hilarious comedy of bad manners, directed by Lindsay Posner.
The Bliss family are incapable of sharing the spotlight. Unconventional, risqué and often downright rude, they are everything a respectable English family shouldn’t be. When each member of the family invites a guest to their rural retreat, the unassuming visitors are thrown into a living melodrama. Misjudged meetings, secret seductions and scandalous revelations proliferate during one outrageous weekend in Berkshire.
The cast also includes Simon Shepherd (The Duck House, ITV's Peak Practice) as her husband David and Michael Simkins (Yes, Prime Minister) as Richard Greatham, with Sara Stewart (Heartbreak House, Chichester) as Myra Arund

I purchased the ticket online and it has been sent to me by post. The postage was fast.I enjoyed watching the play, it was funny and Felicity Kendall was brilliant.
This was a perfect relaxing play with some belly laughs, spotlight parts for all nine actors (clever writing) and some intellectual challenges. It has worn well after 90 years - must have been outrageous in 2915. could the duke of york's print their tickets rather than been sent their tickets from elsewhere? i had a wasted journey and I live out of town! thanks to rebecca and barnaby (tickets and stalls) for nice contact and help. thanks best wishes david fish
The tickets that I bought were quite expensive and a long way back from the stage. The play was quite good fun, although not wildly funny, and quite unsubstantial. The acting was generally good, but Felicity Kendal was too old for the role- with her character making the point that the only way she could have already have had a 19-year old daughter was because she married so young. It's really a part for an actress of 45-50. Set design was very good and I like the period flavour.
We enjoyed the entire show which was made, of course, by the first class acting across the board. One of the best ever!
Not a great afternoon. Enjoyed the Acting Talents but found the opening build up scene flat. The Play got better as it progressed with more sustained laughter towards the end.
Brilliant show. Lead role just made for Felicity Kendal
Really enjoyed Hay Fever. It's an old fashioned play but the jokes are still funny and the acting was top-notch.
The play: a slow beginning laying the groundwork, the second act much better with good repartee and many laughs, the last act an excellent climax bringing the whole together. Very funny. The Actors: All were excellent, I mean really fantastic at bringing the characters to life with each personality (and there are many) filled and convincing.
I thought the theatre production called " Hayfever " was excellent. The cast were ideal when delivering humorous responses as per their script. I recommend everyone should go and see it & be on the receiving end of the wonderful talent the cast had to offer .
Charming, quaint, amusing. What British theater is all about.
We were unable to enjoy the performance as we were unable to hear most of the dialogue from Stalls seats Q8 & Q9. These and a few adjacent seats were the only stalls seats offered on line where there should have been a warning that audibility in this position is poor. For us this show was a waste of time and money.
The whole cast were brilliant, a wonderful comical entertainment
