This November it returns to the West End in a new production from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge, A Little Life), who reunites with Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Network) alongside Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths, The Amen Corner) and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You, Death of England: Delroy) Respected, self-made businessman Joe (Bryan Cranston) prides himself on providing for his wife and their two sons.
While wartime delivers profits for the family, it comes at a price when his partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals, and his eldest son goes missing in action.
Peacetime brings little peace of mind as Joe’s true involvement in the activity begins to surface, and he is suddenly confronted by the consequences of his actions.
Arthur Miller skewers the dishonest promise of the American Dream in this disturbingly prescient play.
This was play was incredible!!! The cast was phenomenal, the stage setting was enveloping and well designed. The play was engaging, easy to relate with, and a wonderful ride of emotions and nostalgia. THANK YOU for this grand gift.
This is the best production of this play I have ever seen. The acting was outstanding, Sally Field was everything I thought she would be, the emotional performance she gave is still affecting me 24 hours later, I still sob as I think about it. Fantastic!
Excellent production and an all star cast!
The play was superb and the dame Saly Fields was amazing. The theatre was in construction so way oou was a bit confusing.
excellent set, excellent script & very good actors
Brilliant, very faithful to Miller and how I've always seen his work.
The play was amazing. The no photos rule before the play started was unreasonable. There were two people holding very small signs at the front of the theatre and when I took a photo of the chandelier one came running and yelling waving her sign (that was too small to read from the distance I was at). I understand no pictures during the performance- but what is wrong with a picture of the theatre setting?? Also, please get bigger signs!
Brilliant acting from all , great story
Excellent production, brilliant acting and story told in an engaging way. I’ve studied other Arthur Miller plays but have never seen or read this one - it was a delight to be introduced to the story this way! Set was great too. Great work everyone involved.
Very good
Amazing set and performance
I had bought tickets for All My Sons as a birthday present for my friend. I had not realised until we took our seats that she has an extreme fear of heights. The production was sold out for that night, but the incredibly helpful person at the box office managed to swap our tickets to the stalls. So my friend was able to relax and enjoy the wonderful performance. I am very grateful for that persons kindness to us.
